How to apply to Australian
National University:-
The application
process depends on whether you are a domestic or international applicant and
the type of degree or program you are applying for.
Domestic Application : For the
purposes of admission and enrolment at ANU, domestic applicants are:
- Australian or New Zealand citizens (or dual citizenship holders of either country)
- Australian permanent residents
- Holders of Australian humanitarian visas
The application
process varies, depending on the type of program you want to apply for.
Undergraduate programs
are typically the first degree or program taken at university and include
associate degrees, diplomas and bachelor degrees.
Requirements
You need an Australian
Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or equivalent that meets the requirement for
your desired program. ATAR requirements are specified within the undergraduate program listings.
If you are a domestic
applicant who has completed a qualification overseas your qualification will be
converted to an ATAR equivalent when you apply. As a domestic applicant, you
apply through Universities Admission Centre (UAC).
If you didn't receive
a sufficient ATAR or equivalent you may consider applying to ANU via other
pathways.
Some programs have
additional requirements or prerequisites. Any additional admission requirements
or prerequisites will be included in the program listing and in the relevant
Universities Admission Centre (UAC) information.
All applicants must
meet English language requirements.
To apply for the
Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery program please contact the ANU Medical School.
All other domestic
undergraduate applicants should apply through the Universities
Admissions Center (UAC).
International Application : For the purposes of admission and enroolment at ANU,
international applicants are those who are not domestic, which
includes:
